Anil Jacob Chief Pilot Anil has had a lifelong passion for aviation. He
started flying aircraft in 1987. Since then he has logged time in
airplanes, helicopters, powered parachutes and hot air balloons. Anil is an FAA Certified Commercial
Pilot and flies the hot air balloon Southern

Rob Seriff Commercial Pilot Rob has logged many hours in fixed-wing and
lighter-than-air aircraft. Having trained students to fly hot air balloons in
addition to flying balloons commercially, Rob is a valuable member of the Air
Alabama team. |

Patrick Daniel Crew Chief Patrick’s love for ballooning is evident when you
talk to him. His knowledge and dedication to the sport of ballooning make him
an excellent Crew Chief. Patrick’s hobbies, when not chasing balloons,
include taming grizzly bears and retrieving lava samples from active
volcanoes. |

Hot Air Balloons & Powered Parachutes

School Educational Program Air Alabama is proud to offer a school educational program that uses hot
air balloons as an exciting new method for learning about a variety of
subjects. We start by coordinating with your school to teach ballooning as it
relates to Math, History, Science, Physics, Weather, etc. This can be done
over a week or so. Our pilot would then come out, make a presentation, answer
questions, show the balloon and possibly even do an inflation and launch.

Speaker Program Our pilots are always available to speak to any group interested in hot
air ballooning. We offer an interesting and informative presentation on hot
air balloons complete with a question and answer session afterward. Whether a
school, church, civic organization or just a group of friends, we will be
